Build a bonfire,
Build a bonfire,
Put the villa on the top,
Put the baggies in the middle,
And burn the fu**ing lot  **thumbup

Surely we put the Dogheads in the middle.
:D
replace the baggies with the wanderers and its a good song.

I kind of remember a song i have not heard for years.

It goes something like this.

Some say the v---a's a very nice place
but some say the team is a f-----g discrace
the holt end they stand and the holt end they do
with hands down there trousers because they have nothing to do
the holt end they sing and the holt end they shout but they sing about
songs they no nothing about.
You and me we all agree they should be shoveling sh-t on the isle of capri.

Does anyone remember this song???????

I don't think i have got the words cpmpletly right and i have no idea what the tune it is sung to is called.

Well, that's KRO put to bed then!

On a serious note, I agree. Songs with Birmingham in it are positive. Slagging off the opposition is normally out of envy.

I heard a lad at a game last season sing "we're off to sign Zidane" but "we,re off to parties and" takes the biscuit.

:LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO:

Cant wait till just before kick off when we get KRO ringing around the stadium, makes me feel proud to be a bluenose, and hopefully we will all have that feeling after the final whistle. **thumbup

I don't think i have got the song quite right though..there is another line in it somewhere.

heard a few old timers sing this a few times and the version I heard was

"they say viler park is a terrible place
the football they play is a ****** disgrace"
then a couple of other lines which often differ but one version I heard was
"now down on the holte end they sing and they shout
they sing all the songs they no **** all about
but you know and I no where villa should be,
its shovling up !"£$ on the isle of capri"

an alternative line one fella sang was "with full backs and half backs the villa do play" so this may well be the forgotten line??

it continues... "B, L, U, E, S" if you can not spell it then heres what I said... it says blues blues glorious blues
down at st andrews we play, we've never won an honour in fotballing years, but there is no other team to compare with the blues... "

then there is a verse about the blues... but I haven't a clue what this is... I was about 8 (almost 20 years ago) the last time I heard this song sung at a match!!

The 70's classic

We come from Birmingham
We come from Birmingham
We come from Brum, Brum ,Brum, Brum, Birmingham

The tune is easy, the words are simple - therfore high decibels.
More importantly it's so ironic - as much as Vile would want to sing it, they can't!!
We are Birmingham, they're just little little Aston.

Come on go for it.

Don't cry for me R-Sole Vile,

s-hit on the vile has been chanted since the early 80s at blues. no other club used it until at least 5-6 years later. if i was vile id be really embarrased having to copy one of our songs aimed at them. there jealous of Blues because they carry the citys name where they are merely just a part of the city. :banner:
